Hosting an event is a great way to connect with your staff and clients. But if you want to provide a more high-end and exclusive experience, you should consider offering a very important person (VIP) experience.

The idea is to elevate what you’re already providing to that next level. You should aim to offer something out of the ordinary, something unexpected and, most importantly, something memorable.

The event you take your staff or clients to for their VIP experience should feel special. You could consider a major sporting event, a gig for an artist who tours rarely, or the opening night of a big show, for example.

A VIP experience could involve a meet and greet with players or performers. It could see your staff sat in the best seats in the house with the best views, be that a VIP box at a sporting event or a private balcony at the theatre.

Being a VIP should mean that you’re treated with an extra level of care and attention, which can help to make an event feel more special for your staff. It’s also a fantastic way of rewarding them for their hard work and efforts.


Prior to the event, your staff or clients will probably need somewhere to get ready. Once it’s over, it’s also a good idea for them to have somewhere to stay to add to the experience.

Before an event, for instance, your staff could be treated to VIP pampering, with professional hair and make-up at their hotel, before a night on the town. Or they could be treated to a stay in a luxurious room to rest their weary head after their night out.

Travelling from your chosen accommodation to the event, and back, can be just a case of hiring a taxi. Providing VIP treatment, however, can mean this too could be scaled up and made into a memorable part of your event.

Using a party bus or luxury limousine, for instance, allows your staff or clients to travel in style. Depending on where you event is, such as a London West End show, this can give them the opportunity to relax and take in some of the local sights in luxury.
