Bringing home the double at the Incentive Awards 2019

CR Worldwide are celebrating winning two prestigious accolades for Best Incentive Travel Trip and Best Place to Work at the Incentive Awards 2019.

WINNERS – Best Incentive Travel Trip – HPE Power Up

We were tasked to design a digital incentive programme that would drive sales YOY and attach rates over the quarter, create hype and excitement around the program, deliver a high-impact, high energy trip in keeping with the programme name – Power Up.

At the core of the programme, we would design a fully branded website, utilising our channel performance technology platform, MyRewards®. This hub would include objectives of the incentive, how to participate and details of the rewards available for successful performance.
Through the GDPR compliant portal, we could send regular email communications to the channel partners, to provide updates and run tactical incentives.

To motivate partners to participate, we identified that regular face-to-face touch points via SPIFF events throughout the incentive period, would help to connect the audience with the incentive.

But ultimately, to drive partner participation, we suggested including an aspirational destination as part of an end of programme trip, for people to strive to gain a place on.

The chosen trip destination was a two-centre stay in South Africa combining a Safari and adrenaline activities in Cape Town.

The itinerary had an overlying ‘Power Up’ theme and included a one-night stay in a Safari Lodge with game drives and South African BBQ’s to kayaking at Boulders Beach with the unique penguin colony, powerboating in Hout Bay, table mountain excursion with cable car ride, a 14 course African banquet with an interactive drumming session and the piece de resistance; a surprise Harley Davidson transfer to Cape Point – the itinerary was action-packed to really give a South African experience.

The HPE Channel lead commented: “Through planning and execution our event was on point. From initial views the agenda was jam packed, but with the great event management skills it ran super smooth, with all attendees feeling they had been given a great experience without over doing it. The activities arranged engaged everyone well & drove them to build relationships which only added to the experience and pleasure of hosting. It was a truly great trip and I look forward to working together on the next one.”

CR helped deliver 110% of the target, received a NPS score of +100 and scored 100% when asked if the program/event has helped achieve business objectives
