Incentive travel trip encourages EMEA reseller partners to achieve 203% of sales target

‘The Full Montenegro’ was a branded incentive programme comprising of an online engagement and points banking platform and a luxury incentive trip.
The 35 participating countries were split into different tiers, based on previous sales performance. Sales teams were set targets to achieve and must hit a minimum threshold of Operating Systems (OS’s) to be eligible for the incentive. Once they had accomplished their target, each country would receive a number of seats on the incentive trip to Montenegro.
What we did
We designed an online portal that included all the details of the incentive initiative, including the programme requirements, targets, timings, eligibility and the travel trip destination. Throughout the campaign period, sales teams were able to log-on and check their performance against target, to see if they were on track to receive a place on the trip via the league table.
To engage the users and encourage them to keep visiting the site, we added an interactive water sports game they could play. This would be actual activity they could enjoy if they were awarded with a place on the trip to Montenegro.
We chose Montenegro as the end of programme destination as it had been voted as a Top 10 Place to Visit in the Lonely Planet Guide and was easily accessible to the participating EMEA countries. The luxury 3-night incentive trip was designed to reward outstanding achievements, so our Event Managers ensured winners were treated like a VIP, for a once in a lifetime memorable experience.
Arrival at Hotel Splendid, Montenegro’s 5* hotel. Guests enjoyed luxury rooms with views of the Adriatic Sea. As part of their prize, winners received a €150 prepaid card which could be used in the hotel spa or local shopping malls.
We organised a Treasure Hunt tour of Kotor. Not only did the winners have chance to network with their peers, they also experienced the local culture. Next stop was a private Catamaran trip where they took in the famous scenery and crystal clear water.
We reserved a private area of the beach where guests experienced watersports activities including: jet ski’s, banana boat or kayaking. Followed by a BBQ on the beach. The winners enjoyed exclusive 5* dining and VIP areas in bars and nightclubs, throughout the trip.
The trips itinerary was designed to create lifetime memories and a ‘feel good factor’ that they can take back to the office and motivate others to participate in future incentives.
